Before
This vegetable garden had undefined beds with poor soil in an irregular shaped plot.
The client required defined areas for vegetables, soft fruit, herbs and a cut flower garden.
After
The undefined space has now been divided into manageable raised beds in an orderly design despite the original irregular shape.
The raised beds are organised into different areas, some for the permanent planting of soft fruit and rhubarb, others for the rotation of annual vegetables and two other areas for cutting flowers and herbs. Raising the beds allowed for the addition of new soil improving considerably the original which was stoney and thin. The addition of a rosa rugosa hedge adds an extra joy to the garden for much of the year.

As the garden is now easily maintained and is able to give better results the garden has much more use than it used to and is now very productive.
